The Hammer

The Hammer was my first dive into sculpting off of low poly models. It was also my attempt at baking textures, normal, and ambient occlusion for use in a game engine, all of which was successful. After the low poly model was created, I duplicated it and began sculpting with a multi-resolution modifier. The head uses a procedural Nosie texture to give it the uneven look. The symbol was created in Photoshop and sculpted as a texture onto the head. The handle itself used a mask to avoid sculpting certain areas. All materials are procedural and made of physically based shaders with added scratches and wear.
